Idle Outdoors started as a couple buddies that really liked to go camping. That actual hasn’t changed, we just have cool stickers and a YouTube channel now.

We do our best to bring exciting outdoor content and sensible reviews. Focusing on affordability and the ‘Just Go Camp’ mindset. Everyone can camp with whatever gear you have. Doesn’t have to be expensive, doesn’t have to be in some pristine location, you don’t even have to catch any fish (that’s ok right?).

Most importantly (pack more beer than you think…), things will go wrong. Trust us, we know. You’ll forget gear, you’re heater magically won’t work, and you’ll get a flat tire at 13,000 feet. Gotta roll with it, part of the ride.
